Hi, I'm Hamdan Rashid Siddiqui, a Software Engineer driven by a genuine passion for building robust and scalable web applications from end-to-end. I enjoy the entire process, from crafting clean code to architecting effective solutions, whether for professional projects or personal exploration. My professional focus is on full-stack development. I frequently work with technologies like Node.js (Express) for backend services, React and Next.js for dynamic frontends, and PostgreSQL for data management. I thrive on optimizing performance, designing clean systems, and ensuring application reliability and security. Beyond my core work, I'm a strong believer in giving back to the developer community. This leads me to actively contribute to open-source projects, particularly within the React Native ecosystem. I've had the opportunity to contribute code and fixes to foundational projects like react-native core and react-navigation, as well as valuable community libraries such as react-native-masonry-list and react-native-shadow-2. I also love learning through personal projects. Examples include building pyfs, a multi-user file system in Python, exploring LLMs for tweet analysis (twitter-user-locator), and developing practical apps like an Airbnb-Clone and Just-Headlines. Currently, I'm diving into service availability systems, by building a personal project in Go for my homelab. When I'm not coding, I'm often gaming, exploring virtual worlds.
